Tata Motors has released the first official image of the 2026 Punch EV facelift ahead of its launch in India. The preview offers an early look at the updated design, with more details expected in the coming days.
The facelifted Punch EV sports a cleaner and more robust front-end design. Its front fascia now has a sleeker appearance, featuring a closed-off grille. Unlike the previous model, which came with a full-width lightbar, the updated Punch EV seems to have a slimmer black trim strip. Additionally, the lower scuff plate has been subtly redesigned.
The side profile remains largely unchanged, riding on the same wheels as the current model. The rear is yet to be revealed, but it is expected to feature the connected-light setup seen on the new ICE Punch, along with a redesigned bumper.
Mechanically, Tata may update the battery packs for improved range. The current Punch EV comes with 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery options, offering real-world ranges of around 270 km. The facelift is expected to retain these packs, with ARAI-claimed ranges of 265 km for the smaller battery and 365 km for the larger unit.

Inside, the Punch EV facelift is expected to retain key features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, 360-degree cameras, auto-dimming IRVM, ambient lighting, connected-car tech, and likely a Level 2 ADAS suite.
In Nepal, the current-generation Punch EV is offered in three variants, with prices starting at Rs 34.99 lakh and going up to Rs 39.99 lakh. If launched locally, the facelifted model is expected to carry a slightly higher price than the current version.
